Consigning merchandise with Caddigan Auctioneers & Appraisers is simple. We typically work on a commission basis, and make payment within 30 days of the auction date. This fee covers everything from moving, packing, and transportation to storage, photography, promotion (newspaper and trade journal ads, direct mail), cleaning, pre-sale display, sale, and record-keeping. The check for merchandise sold is accompanied by a detailed computer printout which itemizes the sale. If all items don't sell during one sale, we will offer them again at another. Ultimately, all estate items will be sold at fair market value.
Special interest items are often sold at reduced commission rates, so it really makes sense to talk with us about your needs.
